The Finance Associate is responsible for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition's accounting functions, including processing payroll and accounts payables, reconciling checking accounts and balance sheet items, monthly financial statement accounting, and assisting the Finance Coordinator with other tasks as needed to maintain Greater Yellowstone Coalition's accounting systems, records and reports. In addition, s/he provides support for human resources functions, which may include aspects of personnel records and benefits administration in relation to payroll.  S/he relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and performs advanced and specialized accounting assignments, often involving complex and confidential data.  S/he compiles, analyzes and reports accounting data for management reports and decision-making purposes.  S/he will also research, make recommendations, and implement accounting solutions, policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.

MONTANA CONSERVATION COORDINATOR

The Greater Yellowstone Coalition seeks a highly motivated and organized manager for a full-time position responsible for coordinating our conservation work in Montana. The ideal candidate will develop active constituencies for protecting the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem from a broad base of individuals, groups, communities in Montana, be responsible for developing, implementing strategies on a broad range of conservation issues, represent the organization in the public, and build strong relationships with state, federal agency personnel, partner groups, communities, landowners, and donors.
