Winter Ecology Class by MOSS: Winter is a magical time to visit Yellowstone with over four feet of annual snowfall, thousands of geothermal features, and both large and small creatures of the wild. Explore the winter world of Yellowstone and learn about the inter-connections in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.  Through hands-on explorations, discover more about Yellowstone’s predator-prey relationships, investigate special adaptations that animals have to meet the challenges of winter and traveling through snow, and hunt for signs of year-round animal life.  Appreciate the diversity of thermal features in Yellowstone including geysers, mud pots, hot spring pools, and fumaroles and explore the complexity of organisms that call Yellowstone home. Unravel the mysteries of winter with fun and adventure.
